Affiliate marketing refers to an intermediary method of selling. It involves marketing the offers of certain companies, for which you then receive an agreed commission on every completed sale. John says that affiliate marketing is the best way to earn money online. The opportunity lies not in creating products that take up your time and money, but in connecting people and making information easier to use, so that buyers can make easier and faster purchasing decisions. Everything that is bought online can be connected through affiliate marketing. I have researched the system that John teaches for you. On the world’s largest affiliate marketing platform ClickBank you can recommend products and services where you can earn up to 75 percent of each sale. An example of affiliate marketing: You have your own blog and you write a post about a book you’ve read, and you offer anyone interested in learning more about the book a link to view it on the Amazon online store, and for every book sold, Amazon pays you a certain percentage. Other examples of affiliate marketing:
- Uber : They don’t own a single car, yet they are still the largest taxi company in the world. Their goal is to connect people who want to reach a certain destination with people who can take them there.
- Hotels.com : The world’s leading hotel company, even though they don’t own any hotels.
- Airbnb : They don’t own any of the locations that are rented out.
- Expedia : The world’s leading airline company operating digitally. Through affiliate marketing, they connect people interested in air travel, while not owning any planes themselves.
The essence of affiliate marketing is therefore to connect people with the products they need and in doing so create a profit. The ways to connect people with products are: using the Google search engine, Facebook, YouTube, email marketing, etc. John Crestani started in affiliate marketing by recommending gold through the ClickAgain network, and later promoted skin care and weight loss products. Today he earns money by teaching others how to use affiliate marketing.
John says that for success on the internet you only need three things: the right niche and offer, a marketing system that will attract visitors, and a sales funnel that will convert visitors into buyers. You choose a niche because it makes it easier to earn more money and also makes marketing easier. John also teaches about the three main strategies he used to acquire visitors: Facebook, YouTube, and Google search (optimization). Anything else can work as well. The important thing is to find a niche and attract visitors that you can then convert into buyers.
– YouTube is used by placing affiliate links (purchase links) in the video description. John advises that videos should be five to ten minutes long and contain longer descriptions. In John’s opinion, it’s good to publish them daily. A great example of a YouTube channel that uses affiliate marketing is Casey Neistat.
– Facebook is used by posting affiliate links in regular and promoted Facebook posts. – With the Google strategy, John advises reviewing products or services: so-called review sites (e.g., if you type “regal assets review” into the search engine), or using your own blog to earn a commission for the products you recommend.
