[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”] [et_pb_row admin_label=”row”] [et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text”]

Everything on Google starts with a person who wants to find a solution to their problem, inquire about a specific matter, find clear answers, or make a purchase. Google is therefore an ideal place and offers a great opportunity for you to step in with your offerings. Present people with the solutions they are looking for and offer them your products or services.

Paid Google ads always appear at the top of the page, even above all organic results that Google displays in search results. Google’s advertising platform, called Google Ads, allows you to place your ad there. You will learn the exact process of how to create a Google ad and optimize it to the point where it will bring you significant earnings and increase sales of your products or services.

Google Ads – Why use them?

Google ads

Anyone who decides to advertise their business automatically thinks of Facebook or Instagram advertising first. However, it is easier to make a breakthrough somewhere that is not overly saturated. When you are calmly browsing Facebook and suddenly see an ad, it is like driving focused on the highway and then suddenly spotting a large banner by the road – it may distract you or catch your attention. With Google ads, this question does not arise. Anyone who types words into the Google or YouTube search engine is searching for something with a purpose. You can think of it like a store you walk into with a specific intention. Google then shows you relevant ads that match the search.

For example, someone is interested in buying an imported car from Germany. They are not sure who to turn to or which intermediary to choose for this service. So they type importing a car from Germany into the Google search engine. If you are a provider and have paid for an ad with these keywords, that is the first thing this person sees. They read your ad, it catches their attention, and they land on your website where you introduce yourself and offer this service. On the website, you then receive the customer’s contact details and a potential business opportunity with that person.

The power of Google ads is therefore often overlooked, yet for many, this represents the main source of visitors to their website. The advantages of Google ads are numerous, as are the reasons why you should not miss the opportunity to advertise your business on Google.

You may be wondering why use Google Ads at all, when organic search results also appear there for free? It takes a truly enormous amount of work to get your website to appear on the first page of Google search results.  For organic results, you need exceptionally high-quality content, many other websites must be linked to yours through links, you need good website SEO, etc. With a very small investment, however, you can ensure that your ad appears above all other search results – it will stand out right at the top.

What advantages do Google ads offer you?

Google advertising

Google and YouTube are still the world’s largest search engines, visited daily by as many as 90% of internet users. The greatest advantage of Google advertising is precisely the connectivity from various sources that Google offers. This includes both video ads on the YouTube search engine and display network ads – on websites. This is a key advantage over Facebook advertising.

The advantage of Google ads is that they accelerate the sale of your products or services and enable ads to be shown to exactly those people who are already searching for them. You want your Google ad to appear at the top of search results for a specific keyword – that is, for what people type into the Google search engine. You tell Google the price you are willing to pay for each customer who clicks on your ad. Until someone clicks on your ad, Google charges you nothing.

Support at Google is faster and more responsive than at Facebook.

With simple Google ads, you can drastically increase the traffic to your website. The goal is to increase the percentage of people who see your ad. From those, only a certain percentage will actually click on it, and from those, only a certain percentage will actually buy from you. With Google ads, you can quickly and easily increase your reach and access to potential customers who use the Google search engine and YouTube on a daily basis.

A Google Ads account offers you a wealth of free tools with which you can precisely manage, track, and analyze your results. Create several different ads and then see which one brings you better results.

Google ads – create an account and don’t miss the tips for greater earnings!

Google ads

Google Ads is the platform that Google uses for advertising. Open ads.google.com or type Google Ads into the Google search engine and open a new free Google account by following the instructions. Enter your details and the registration process is quickly completed.

Google Ads is very transparent and practical to use, as it guides you nicely through creating an ad. Set the location where you want the ad to be displayed and choose your daily budget.

Google Ads also offers you a tool with which you can generate truly impressive earnings. In the Tools and Settings menu, select Audience Manager. This is the main and key factor for successful Google Ads results and increased sales. Here you can define custom combinations. You can advertise to, for example:

  • those who have watched your YouTube video in the last 30 days
  • those who have visited your website in the last 30 days
  • those who have watched specific videos
  • a specific customer list
  • those who have previously purchased something from you
  • those who have already added something to the cart on your website, etc.

This is remarketing, where truly exceptional returns are usually generated. Google displays your ads to those customers who have already expressed a certain interest in you. With the help of the audience manager and all the combinations that Google offers, this is an exceptional opportunity to accelerate and increase the sales of your products or services.

With Google ads, you can be very specific and narrow down the circle of people to whom you want your ads to be shown. It is better for them to be seen by the right potential customers, rather than those who are not interested in your services at all. This is why target audiences are created.

Target as precisely as possible. Don’t use overly general keywords, such as green tea, as people type that in for thousands of different reasons. Be more precise when defining keywords, e.g. organic green tea in bags. A person who types this into the Google search engine will be much more likely to buy your product than someone who enters a common general term.

Google advertising – Glossary of important terms

Here you will find explanations of all the most important concepts and terms you will encounter in Google advertising. Knowing and understanding these will help you achieve the goal of successfully setting up and monitoring Google ads for greater earnings.

Google ads

Conversion

Conversion is a very important factor that you define in advance. It encompasses a specific activity of a visitor on your website, which you can track. The results can be used to improve and optimize your Google ads. For trackability, connect your website to your Google Ads account, and you will gain insight into numerous data points. You will find out which ads are exactly generating profit for you, where most customers are coming from, etc. The conversion rate tells you the percentage of interactions with your Google ads.

CTR

Is an abbreviation for click through rate. Example: Google shows your ad to 100 people. Depending on how many times people click on your ad (5x, 10x, …), the higher your CTR and the greater the interest in the ad. The higher your CTR, the less Google will charge you per click on your ad.

Campaign

In other words, this is an advertising campaign. You create it in your Google Ads account, where you define the campaign’s goal – a visit to your website, increasing conversions, a purchase, … In most cases, an advertising campaign consists of several different ads, all aimed at a common goal. Within this advertising campaign, you then create relevant ads.

CPC

Is an abbreviation for cost per click and refers to the price Google charges you for one click on your ad following a search for a specific keyword. You should aim to keep this amount as low as possible. In your Google Ads account, you set a maximum price you are willing to pay per click, so Google will not exceed this amount. The goal is to pay Google less for the best possible result.

CPA

Is one of the best strategies in Google advertising. CPA is an abbreviation for cost per action. It works on the principle that in your Google Ads account you set the price you are willing to pay for a specific customer action. To start, you can set a target CPA of, for example, €1. It is recommended that you are not extravagant with your budget size – instead, focus on creating a larger number of different ads. This way, Google will more easily achieve the appropriate impressions, and you simply need to ensure quality and attractive ad content.

ROAS

Is an abbreviation for Return on Ad Spend, and refers to the return on money invested in an ad, or profitability relative to investment. The higher the conversion rate, the higher the ROAS.

Quality Score

Means quality rating. Google uses complex formulas to assign each ad a score between 1 and 10. The higher the quality score of an ad, the higher the ROAS and the greater your returns.

Ad Rank

Means ad placement and represents its position in Google search results compared to other competing ads. It is the product of the maximum CPC and Quality Score. It depends on the price you are willing to pay, the quality of the ad, search volume, relevance, etc.
